Cut to the quick.
Today has hurt. I won't say anything more than that. It was my prom day and should have found some way to be good, but it didn't.
It tried hard though, as we celebrated Passover together as a family. It's been so long, it was so good to step back into my own home, my own life, my own heritage. To hear... old words. To hear some distand echo of the Deus.
Though it's not as marvelous, I also got through China Mieville's The Scar and I'll write up a review tomorrow. This is my first day log entry, but I have to write this, have to get the venom out after I was so nearly broken.
